Programming Director
Tyrone Brunson
Originally from Manning, SC, Tyrone Brunson moved to Asheville in 2021 and has served as YTL’s Operations & Finance Director since 2023. A summa cum laude graduate of South Carolina State University, he brings strong financial literacy and leadership to his role. After overcoming cancer and surviving a three-day coma from anaphylaxis, Tyrone is deeply committed to empowering youth—especially those facing adversity and self-doubt. Known for his engaging presence, he helps young people build self-awareness, resilience, and systems for success. His passions include public speaking, poetry, ministry, and basketball.
